Brielle Siskin Restorative Justice Associate Director | Lead, Coaching & Consultation
Brielle (she/her/hers) has worked with Umoja since February 2014.
Her interest in restorative justice derives from her work with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals. Brielle began her career at Umoja as a Restorative Justice Specialist, working in Sullivan High School?s peace room for four years. She moved into a managerial role, supporting the restorative justice team and playing an active role in supporting Umoja?s coaching and consulting work. Brielle firmly believes that in order to create a more restorative and supportive school culture for students, we must work alongside adults. Outside of work, Brielle enjoys spending time with her family, her husband, and her 16-year-old dog, Charlie. She also enjoys working out, trying new restaurants in the city, and being outdoors (when the weather is nice). Brielle received her Masters of Social Work at the University of Michigan.
