Victoria Smith Ellison Sr. Restorative Justice Specialist | Site: Marshall High School | People & Operations Fellow
Victoria (she/her/hers) joined Umoja in July of 2017.
As a Sr. Restorative Justice Specialist at Marshall Metropolitan High School, she runs the Peace Room; a space to use restorative practices to resolve conflict within the school. In an effort to make restorative justice initiatives ongoing and sustainable, she coaches, collaborates, and consults with adults to support them as they incorporate restorative practices in their day-to-day work. Before joining Umoja, Victoria completed her Master?s Degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago. She received her B.A. in Educational Studies from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) in 2015.
Victoria loves to travel, earrings are her favorite accessory and she is obsessed with vintage clothes. Her dreams include being a backup dancer for Beyonce one day and running a marathon.
